The Harbinger is the model that defined Carlson Guitars. It is the guitar through which I have shaped my voice as a builder and established the direction of Carlson Guitars. Its name represents what I want every instrument I build to be—a sign of what is still to come. Each Harbinger carries forward what the instument before it taught me, continually refining its sound, structure, feel, and visual identity. It is not a finished answer, but an evolving expression of the pursuit behind Carlson Guitars: modern in its construction, personal in its execution, and always reaching toward a more complete instrument.

The body dimensions above define the Harbinger’s shape and visual proportions. Player-specific details—including scale length, nut width, string spacing, neck profile, and select appointments—can be tailored through the commission process.

The Harbinger is currently the only Carlson model available for commission. Future models will be introduced only when they have been fully developed and are ready to carry the Carlson name.
